Biblical Colloquium - Call for Papers

Tuesday, September 27th, 2022

The biblical colloquium will focus the theme of Legacy as history irrupting into the present but also as something under construction in the present that will impact the near and far future. Biblical studies have inherited much from the past; what will be the historic legacy that it leaves? We are, therefore, especially interested in submissions from graduate students, lecturers, and professors of biblical studies on this topic of Legacy though any biblical studies topic, in the Old or New Testament, is applicable and we encourage anyone in this field to submit a proposal.

Please send proposal submissions to either Eric Bellavance, eric.bellavance@concordia.ca or Marie-France Dion, m-f.dion@concordia.ca.

For students whose presentations were accepted  there may be an invitation to submit their papers after the conference to the editorial of Bishop Street: Graduate Journal of Theological Studies at bishopstreetconcordia@gmail.com. The deadline for submission is October 1st 2022. The selected papers will be reviewed, edited and published in a special issue of the Journal covering Theology in the City 2022.
